About the Artist

I love to shoot! I enjoy bringing out the details of God’s creation and man’s handiwork. When traveling or just taking walks with camera in hand, friends often comment on how I help them see what they would not otherwise have seen – the hidden treasures of life.

My love for photography began in the late seventies. I am self-taught, but I have attended workshops and have studied books and articles on photography. I have shot weddings and my images have been used in commercial brochures, calendars and catalogs. In 2005 I switched my focus to my first love - Fine Art.

Beauty is important to me. I am grateful to be able to express it as a photographer, musician and gardener. I find great delight in capturing the wonders and “Art” of life.

When asked what is my subject matter, I have to reply "I'm eclectic, I shoot what I like to shoot." I am intrigued by color and patterns, architecture and nature, everyday life and abstracts. Although many of my images are planned, I try to keep a camera with me for those unexpected shots.
